Jamie Blundell - 2008 Young Sportsman of the Year and London 2012 Hopeful

Coventry's International Long Jumper Jamie Blundell received the accolade of Young Sportsman of the Year in 2008 and since then he has established himself as one to watch come 2012.

In 2009 Jamie underlined his potential with a fine victory in the National Age Group Championships and the Jumps International Meeting in the Holland.  His achievements over the last 12 months are testament to his dedication and hard work, culminating in setting a new PB of 7.56m and finishing 10th in the National Senior Indoor Championships.

With the support of Recognition Express, Jamie received a Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Sports Awards Scholarship in 2009 and is a current CAP athlete.
